NINA JAFFERJI (Lead MakeUp Artist) Nina Jafferji is a New York-based independent makeup artist working in fashion and entertainment and is joining us as the lead makeup artist for HSBC CFW 2012. Nina’s clients include M.A.C Cosmetics, La Mer, Cover Girl and MTV. She has also worked New York’s S/S 2012 Fashion Week, including shows by Bebe, Sachika, Daisy Fuentes, Gibraud and Avril Lavigne’s Abby Dawn collection, and was responsible for leading a team of make up artists for Indian designer duo Kavi Kavi. She works with a range of international musicians, including Pakistani megastar Atif Aslam, singer and face of Olay Malaysia, Yuna, the Mexican punk band Le Bucherettes,Germany’s Emika and the Grammy-nominated band La Vida Boheme. Recently, Nina finished a project with Chinese supermodel Ling Ling Kong for SIX magazine, and will be working with upcoming U.S. designers for Elle. Nina is fluent in English, German and Italian, which have proved invaluable in the international world of fashion. Nina has a background in dance, performance and art, which plays a role in her passion for makeup artist.
